Engine Department – Assistant Chief Engineer

Able to assume duties of Chief Engineer and to take charge of ship’s Engine Department. Supervising operations of the engineering department aboard. Participating in training of all engine department staff. Assisting the Chief Engineer in electrical, electronic, mechanical matters aboard. Ordering equipment. Certificate of Competency, leadership skills and previous ship experience required. Excellent English.

Salary: $4500-9000 per month.

Engine Department – First / Second / Third Engineer

Responsible for daily maintenance and operations of engineering and technical aspects of vessel. Supervising other staff and their training. Overseeing bunkering of fuel and lubrication oil. Engineer Certificate of Competency and experience as engineer on board ship required. Degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering and excellent English.

Salary: $4200-8800 per month.

Engine Department – Hotel Services Engineer

Managing entire hotel technical department of cruise ship. Responsible for maintenance and repair of machineries, equipment, systems outside main engine room. In charge of all technical personnel. Engineering Certificate of Competency, experience in subordinate positions on board required. Experience with refrigeration systems and good English.

Salary: $4000-8000 per month.

Engine Cadet

Following instructions of First Engineer, attending engine control room. Assisting in maintenance of engine room equipment. Completion of four year Maritime Engineering program, National License required. Excellent English.

Salary: $2200-3000 per month.

Chief Electrician   cruise ship engineer jobs

Responsible for overseeing operation and maintenance of electrical plant and systems. Must ensure all electrical equipment and machinery- elevators, fire alarm systems, navigation equipment are properly maintained. Supervising operations of subordinate members of electrical team. Must be present in Engine Control Room during drills, maneuvers, emergencies and work in cooperation with Chief Engineer. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, experience with large electrical plants on ships required. Computer literacy and good English.

Salary: $4200-8000 per month.

Electrician

Responsible for proper maintenance and repairs of electrical systems on board as directed by Chief Electrician. Education as electrical, electronic, power engineer and computer literacy required. Good English.

Salary: $3700-7000 per month.

Electronic Engineer

Responsible for maintenance and repair of electronic equipment and systems- electronic and navigation equipment, satellite communication system, electronic equipment, entertainment and TV systems, telephone system, camera surveillance system, UPS systems, etc. Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Diploma from accredited university, working experience required. Computer literacy and good English.

Salary: $3500-7000 per month.

Electronic Engineer Junior

Responsible for maintenance and repair of communication systems- satellite communication systems, telephone system, public address system. Relevant college degree, professional experience are required. Computer literacy and good English.

Salary: $2200-3200 per month.

Responsible for daily maintenance, cleaning of engine parts. Experience on board ships, diploma from accredited maritime school and good English required.

Salary: $1500-2400 per month.

Fitter

Responsible for daily maintenance, cleaning of engines, mechanical equipment. Experience on board ships, diploma from accredited maritime school required. Good English.

Salary: $1400-2200 per month.

Oiler

Assisting ship engineers in lubricating bearings, other parts of engines and mechanical equipment. Maintaining the ship’s main power plant in order to ensure oil temperature is within the standards. Previous work experience and basic English required.

Salary: $1100-1500 per month.

Wiper

Providing assistance to licensed engineers in different tasks in engine room- general maintenance, repair of various machinery and equipment. Previous experience and basic English required.

Salary: $1000-1200 per month.

Plumber

Responsible for maintenance and repair of plumbing. Previous experience required. Basic English.

Salary: $1500-1900 per month.

Upholsterer

Re-upholstering of furniture. Basic English and previous experience required.

Salary: $900-1300 per month.

Fireman

Responsible for firefighting and safety on board. Fire fighting certificate, basic English required.

Salary: $1400-1800 per month.
